Trompe L’Oeil

“Trompe L'Oeil”is a French phrase, which means to “fool the eye”. It is a style of painting where the viewer is tricked into believing that objects or spaces in the painting may actually be real.

Traditional subjects include moldings and trim, wood veneers, columns and architectural details, views through windows and doors and objects painted in full detail. This is a refined style of painting, which brings a touch of magic to any setting.
