The Design ProcessThe design process typically begins with a general discussion of the project that allows us to prepare for a site visit. For the site visit we ask you to assemble ideas, drawn plans or collected images to support the design discussion. We offer our portfolio, any existing samples and pre-selected reference material relevant to your project. At this meeting we discuss specific details about the work and determine a rough budget. If you decide to proceed we provide a written quote and move onto the design phase. The design phase for a simple finish with paint or plaster, involves creating samples to establish colour and look. We produce an agreed upon number of samples for your approval. There is a sample fee set for this in the quote. The design phase for a complex concept and design involves research and preliminary sketches. We present these to you and confirm the appropriate direction. From there we produce a full colour drawing and a scaled elevation of the design for your final approval. We fully understand that every situation is unique and we are committed to working together to design and execute a decorative project that meets your expectations.
